Delete your Skycup data
You can delete your Skycup account and everything in it at any time, from the app or by email. Skycup is developed by Ali Şahin.
In the app
- Open Skycup and go to the Profile tab.
- Under Help and legal, tap Delete my data.
- Confirm. Your data is deleted at once.
Without the app
Write to hello@skycup.app from the email address of the Apple or Google account you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my data". If you used Apple's Hide My Email, write from the address it forwards to, or tell us the relay address. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we delete your data within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in link with Apple or Google (Sign in with Apple access is revoked)
- Your profile: name, birth date, time and place
- All readings, cup photos, questions and predictions
- Your credits, plan, invite code, ad and free-reading history
- Your notification token and usage events
- On the phone you delete from: everything Skycup stored there, including cup photos and reminders
Unused credits and the rest of a plan are lost and can't be restored.
What is kept
- Subscriptions: deleting your data doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your store account so it doesn't renew.
- Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- Invites: if a friend joined with your code, their account keeps the credits they received, with no link back to you.
- Backups and logs: copies in our hosting provider's backups and server logs are overwritten within 30 days.
- Legal records: anything the law requires us to keep, only for that period.
To delete a single reading instead, open it in the app and delete it there; its photo goes with it. More about how we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.
